TESTIMONIALS

Gina: How do you know which puppies will be cream or black and cream? They all look alike to me. Meanwhile, our dear doxies are enjoying the snow. They have paths in the back yard and they roll and tumble and chase each other. They take their toys outside and then they play together and race around the yard. They are such a joy, just absolutely priceless. And I thank you for all of that. It is very apparent to me after attending your Halloweenie Parties and seeing you at the Frankenmuth Doxie Fest that you excel at breeding the "Cream of the Crop Doxies". When we attended the Doxie Fest in Frankenmuth, we were there in the parking lot for no more than 5 minutes and passers-by recognized Johnnie and Bentley as puppies from "Cash" and "Gina's Doxies". I am so very proud of "Frankie" and "Johnnie" and Martha's "Bentley". Everywhere we take them we get so many compliments. We absolutely love them. I am so thankful that I had to take Morgan to the vet that day and saw the 2 Cream LH Dachshund puppies in the waiting room and had the sense to ask where they got them. The only information that they gave me was that the breeder's name was "Gina something" and they lived in a city that was north and west of Detroit and it had the word "bridge" in it. That night I searched the Internet for no less than 4 hours until I found you. (Big sigh!) And oh so thankful! Meanwhile, Johnnie is so much like Cash. I do call him "Johnnie Cashmere" at times, because his fur is so soft like cashmere. He looks so much like Cash also. Frankie is aggressive and a very good protector and home defender. He looks after Johnnie and Bentley. But he needs his "Mom time". He is so soft and cuddly and wants to be held by me at times during the day. I feel that Frankie and I communicate in a very sensitive way. I treasure him. I hope that these thoughts give you strength to carry on to do what you do. You are truly the very best and most caring Doxie Breeder ever! Love, Bev

Subject: Macy
Hi Gina -
I just wanted to tell you every time Macy goes to the vet everyone raves about
what a great looking puppy she is! She is so pretty and has such a fun
personality, everyone that meets her falls in love with her instantly! The
vet asked me for your information because they like to give out good breeders
names to people who are looking. So, just wanted to fill you in on that!
Thanks again and Happy Holidays!
Melanie

Subject: Sydney Update
Hi Gina,
I know you’re probably anxious to hear – Sydney ’s doing great, although I don’t get much done around the house – she’s always at my feet or getting in trouble. I would have sent an email earlier, but she wouldn’t give me the time to do it. Laundry day this weekend was a major chore – she kept dragging socks and underwear throughout the house. We have to keep our bedroom door closed, or she helps herself to our slippers and shoes. She bites EVERYTHING – we need to especially watch her around electrical cords, furniture and plants. She plays hard and sleeps hard – and always eats well. She’s HIGH maintenance – but we love it!
The first evening was a little rough. She threw up in the car on the way home (but we were prepared – I brought a dishpan for that very purpose). She was afraid in her new home and whimpered whenever we put her on the floor or were out of eyesight, so we held her alot. We tried to cage her at night, but she cried, so we brought her into our bed and hoped for the best. She slept 5 hours straight, went out to potty, and slept 2 hours more. I was really impressed – she’s a good sleeper. She continues to stretch her boundaries, seems to be very comfortable in the house now and knows all the rooms. She discovered our house has a circle pattern and that it was fun to run – she sounds like a herd of elephants on the wood floor. Sydney has really taken favor to the sunroom – she likes sun bathing. This morning she discovered the upstairs part of our house – she has no fear of the stairs and handled them with ease, so the barricades went up.
Potty training requires a constant vigil, but we’re happy with her progress. You did a good job in giving her a good start – thanks. I’ve taken her on “mini-walks” outside – she doesn’t like the leash, but is adjusting.
She had her first vet visit on Saturday – they passed her around the office and gave her all the attention she loves. Sydney got a clean bill of health and a round of shots.
We took her to a Halloween party this past weekend – she’s not afraid of people and seemed to like the attention. Sydney likes cuddling with people and socialized well with our family dogs. I think she’ll fit into our family very well. She’s a spunky handful, and we got what we bargained for. See pictures attached.
Thanks Gina, for such a great dog.

Hi Gina:
Thought you might enjoy these photos of Bentley.
Bentley giving me directions BACK to Michigan
Bentley Checking out the boats his size
Bentley
telling his friends to text him.
Bentley
and me in Florida.
Bentley is a true joy. He misses his brother and his 2nd family in Michigan. We will be back. We won't miss your Halloween Doxie Party.
Martha and Bentley

Shelby had a great first night at home – no crying and a lot of exploring! She flipped over for Ben to give her a morning belly rub. She was still a little nervous this morning, but once she chewed her bone for a bit and relaxes she was playing like crazy. Tell Donny thanks for wearing her out for me last night. J
My sister-in-law is bringing over her Doxies tomorrow, so she gets to meet her cousins. Rest assured she in good hands and will be spoiled beyond belief!

Gina:
Nugget is right at home here. He is finally asleep in the back
room on the big sofa as we are all here.
Thank you so much, to Melissa also, for driving so many miles to
our home, and spending so much time. Steve and I enjoyed your
visit. It was priceless. It proves once again that you are the
very BEST breeder.
You and Donnie are welcome to visit anytime. We could have a
cookout and sit on the deck and watch the boats on the river on a
beautiful, relaxing summer day.
I have attached some photos taken today.
I will send another email with some more photos.
Love,
Bev

Everything here is going great. Penny is getting more sassy and
letting everyone know she is a equal member of the household. .I
think she went into heat(not sure,no experience). She's trying to
grab my sleeve to keep me playing with her(such a funny girl), I
just love her to death.....She loves her bed a night and heads in there
when I turn off the lights but when I go to the store and put her in there
during the day, she not having it. She cries and carries on like her
heart is broken. As soon as I open the door, she is a happy-go-lucky
girl and all is forgotten. She is such a sweetheart...love her more
each day. Thanks again for my little furry gift of love ,she is a
treasure....jp

Hope you get the pictures (2). I sent one from my other
email. I don't always have success with the pictures.
Sprinkles is just great. He is 11 pounds and spoiled rotten.
Everyone loves him and he rules the house. Loves to be outside and
if we're walking, people stop and play all the time. He usually
shares my chair if I'm reading and loves to watch TV especially if
there are dogs on.
I always check your site to see new puppies and I always tell
people where he came from.
Take care, Linda
